Job summary

Kutak Rock LLP seeks an Associate attorney to join the Litigation practice in its Rogers, AR office. Ideal candidates will have up to five years’ experience in Health Care Litigation or Commercial Litigation and be interested in developing their skills in complex litigation matters with the desire to take a substantive and leading role in a variety of cases while working closely with experienced partners and clients.

Prior litigation experience is preferred but not required. Kutak Rock, a U.S.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Arkansas with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year.
• Experience in civil litigation is preferred but not required.
• Candidates with experience in complex business litigation, medical malpractice, product liability, or other tort litigation preferred but not required.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, and arbitration forums across the country.
• Handle aspects of complex civil litigation, including client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations and settlements.
• Taking and defending fact and expert depositions.
