Job summary

Kubicki Draper in Miami seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience. First Party property experience is a plus but not required.

The role emphasizes drafting pleadings, discovery analysis, legal research, and trial preparation to support mediation and trial teams. You will attend court hearings, depositions, client meetings, and negotiate settlements, while maintaining a client-centric approach and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Must be proficient with Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel.
• Strong communication skills and client service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in Insurance Defense or 1st Party Property is a plus but not required.
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions, analyze discovery issues, prepare reports for clients, perform legal research and assist in mediation and trial preparation.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, meetings with clients, and negotiate settlements.
