Job summary

W3Global in Houston, TX seeks a full-time Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of civil litigation experience to join our established practice. You'll handle hands-on civil matters and gain courtroom exposure under our experienced team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 1–5 years of experience as a litigation attorney preferred, but willing to train a newly licensed attorney with an interest in civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple cases.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Active Texas bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters involving insurance defense, premises liability, property damage, commercial litigation, contract disputes, and general civil litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses.
• Appear in Harris County, surrounding Texas state courts, and federal courts for hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy with senior attorneys.
• Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
