Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active SC law license in good standing.
• 0–5 years of private-practice civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Willingness to develop courtroom and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• NC Bar admission is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Assist with matters in state and federal courts and bankruptcy proceedings.
• Represent and advise financial institutions and commercial clients.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Develop practical strategies to advance client objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and others.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage cases.
