Job summary

Confidential Employer in Denver seeks an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join a boutique construction and casualty team. You will gain hands-on courtroom exposure, including depositions and motion practice, while working with mentors who support your long-term growth.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Experience drafting motions and managing litigation files.
  • Deposition experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Construction litigation experience strongly preferred but not required.
  • Genuine interest in developing a long‑term construction litigation practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution.
  • Draft, review, and argue motions in state courts.
  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
  • Develop litigation strategy alongside experienced attorneys and clients.
  • Perform legal research and prepare persuasive legal briefs.
  • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate directly with clients, experts, and insurance professionals.
  • Manage discovery, case deadlines, and court filings.
  • Mentor junior team members as your experience grows.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while maintaining efficient case management.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Colorado. We are seeking attorneys with at least 2 years of litigation experience and a genuine interest in construction litigation.
