The ideal candidate will have a JD, be eligible for admission to the Iowa Bar, and demonstrate strong research, writing, and advocacy skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Iowa State Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
• Conduct fact investigations, witness interviews, and case strategy.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Review and manage document production and discovery.
• Assist with business development and client relationships.
• Collaborate with other practice groups to provide complete solutions.
