Job summary

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is seeking a Litigation Attorney for our Chicago location to litigate in the asbestos practice area. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of licensed experience and be capable of handling complex litigation with strong academic credentials and presentation skills.

The anticipated salary ranges from $110,000 to $160,000, commensurate with background and experience, with discretionary profit-sharing contributions and a merit-based discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Candidates will have overall case management experience and be adept at drafting critical motions.
• Experience developing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in court proceedings.
• Trial and appellate experience are valued and academic credentials should be strong.
• Excellent presentation skills and an entrepreneurial approach to expanding practice areas.
