Job summary

Responsibilities include managing phases of complex matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and supporting trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Admission to the D.C. Bar.
• Strong academic background and writing skills.
• Prior law firm or clerkship experience.
• Comfort with oral advocacy and independent case handling.
• Experience on both plaintiff- and defense-side matters is a plus.

About the Role

A well-established law firm with a national litigation practice is looking to add a mid-level Litigation Associate (roughly 4-6 years' experience) to its Commercial Litigation team in Washington, D.C. What You'll Do

• Manage multiple phases of complex commercial litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Handle written discovery and take/defend depositions
• Support trial preparation and, where applicable, trial presentation
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on strategy and case management

Helpful (Not Required) Experience

• Digital assets / cryptocurrency-related disputes
• Corporate governance, shareholder, or partnership disputes
• Insurance recovery matters, particularly representing policyholders

Compensation:
