A repeat client and prestigious full-service law has an immediate need for a Litigation Associate to join their dynamic group, with a focus on bankruptcy/creditors’ rights and handling complex matters on the plaintiff side.

This role offers direct collaboration with partners, rapid assignment of responsibility, and strong autonomy in a growing bankruptcy practice, alongside a generous signing bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of litigation experience at a law firm or clerkship.
• Exposure to bankruptcy and/or creditors’ rights is helpful.
• Ability to focus practice on bankruptcy/creditors’ rights is required.

Job description

A repeat client and prestigious full-service law has an immediate need for a Litigation Associate to join their dynamic group.

The group is continuing to grow their complex litigation practice group.

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of litigation experience at a law firm or clerkship.

Exposure to bankruptcy and/or creditors’ rights is helpful.

The candidate does not have to have bankruptcy experience but since they do 100% bankruptcy/creditors’ rights litigation, the candidate does need to be okay focusing their practice to that.

The group works on sophisticated bankruptcy matters and on the plaintiff’s side.

This is an opportunity to work directly with their partners and there are not layers. There’s no tiered work product either – a junior associate is drafting a document and sending it directly to the partner. Associates get more responsibility than at other law firms.
