Responsibilities include litigation, drafting, research, and strategy development, with a hybrid in-office schedule following training.

Salary ranges from $112,500 to $142,500 per year. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, FSA, PTO, life insurance, and a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and admitted in good standing in New York
• Civil litigation experience, including dispositive motions, depositions, and oral argument
• Strong writing, research, analysis, organization and problem-solving skills
• Clear and concise communicator
• Proficient in MS Office, legal research tools and case management software

Responsibilities

• Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in a variety of legal matters

A boutique law firm located in Garden City, NY, seeks a full-time associate attorney with comprehensive civil litigation experience.Experience handling commercial, contractual, and/or real estate disputes preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in a variety of legal matters
• Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and develop case strategies
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, both in and out of court
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and work product
• Maintain accurate and current billing records

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admitted and in good standing in New York State
• Proven civil litigation experience, including dispositive motions, depositions, and oral argument
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; writing, analysis, research, and organization skills
• Communicates clearly and concisely
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, legal research, and case management software

Salary: $112,500 - $142,500 per year
