Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience; defense experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Strong client communication skills.
• Deposition, motion practice, mediation, and trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple cases from inception through resolution.
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Handling court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Assisting with trial preparation and, where appropriate, trial participation.
• Reviewing and analyzing documents and discovery.
• Developing case strategy and communicating with clients and counsel.
• Managing deadlines and working independently.
