• Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, production, interrogatories, and exhibit prep.
• Participate in depositions, court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Assist with trial preparation and witness preparation.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and guidance.

National Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join a dynamic team handling high-stakes disputes in both state and federal courts.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on securities and complex commercial litigation matters using tools such as Westlaw.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, production, interrogatories, and exhibit preparation.
• Participate in depositions, court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and case management.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, legal guidance, and case updates.
• Review and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and court rulings to support case objectives.

What You'll Bring:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active New York Bar admission in good standing; New Jersey admission is a plus.
• 4-8 years of law firm experience focused on securities and complex commercial litigation.
• Strong command of civil procedure, evidence rules, and litigation practice in state and federal courts.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with legal research platforms and case management software.
