Job summary

AmLaw 100 firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join its dynamic litigation group in Minneapolis. This lateral opportunity offers substantial courtroom experience at state and federal levels, representing world-class manufacturers in complex defense cases across products liability, premises liability, and commercial disputes.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of civil litigation experience and be admitted to the Minnesota Bar.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of meaningful experience in civil litigation, class actions, general commercial litigation, or complex litigation (products liability or multi-district litigation experience in a mid-size/large firm is highly valued).
• Admitted to and in good standing with the Minnesota Bar.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue discovery and other motions in state and federal courts.
• Take and defend depositions, and effectively manage complex document productions.
• Take the lead on case management across a variety of litigation matters.
• Defend clients in products liability, premises liability, breach of warranty, breach of contract, and general commercial litigation.
• Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to a dynamic and growing office.

$185,000 to $205,000 annually, determined by experience and skills. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
