Responsibilities

• Legal research and drafting of legal documents
• Conducting discovery and coordinating with local counsel
• Defending against litigation and supporting client advocacy
• Managing the various aspects of a commercial lawsuit from start to finish (for more senior candidates)
• Prioritizing workload, exercising good judgment, and working well under pressure

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience at a top‑tier firm and/or judicial clerkship
• Admission to the Florida Bar
• JD from an accredited law school and a strong academic record
• Excellent credentials, research, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Spanish language fluency (substantial plus)
• Experience with courtroom and deposition preferred but not required
• More senior candidates: substantial experience managing commercial lawsuits end‑to‑end
• More junior candidates: exceptional academic record
• Self‑starter, ability to prioritize workload, and ability to work well under pressure
