The Press Operator in St. Louis, MO, is responsible for manufacturing printed labels, monitoring quality, and maintaining press conditions. Currently, we have 2nd Press Lithographic Operator positions available.

Responsibilities

• Operate KBA (Koenig & Bauer) presses safely and efficiently
• Perform make-ready tasks, adjusting press components with hand tools
• Replace worn rollers and adjust roller pressure
• Clean blankets, ink rollers, and fountains using solvents and mechanisms
• Make color and register corrections to meet quality standards
• Follow procedures for offset presswork and materials
• Read and interpret job specifications for press setup
• Operate equipment safely to produce desired products
• Adjust feeders and guides for optimal operation
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Guide and instruct junior press assistants

Required Skills

• Stand continuously during shifts
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs frequently

Required Experience
