Job summary

onsemi seeks an Entry-Level Lithography Engineer to support 300mm wafer manufacturing worldwide, focusing on photolithography processes and equipment while collaborating with process, equipment, integration, metrology and manufacturing teams.

You will contribute to daily operations, process optimization and yield improvement initiatives, building a strong foundation in semiconductor lithography and manufacturing excellence for automotive and consumer applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to semiconductor processing.
• 0–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience; internships preferred.
• Experience in cleanroom environment is a plus; exposure to lithography and process modules is beneficial.

onsemi is seeking an Entry-Level Lithography Engineer to support the manufacturing of 300mm silicon wafers used in Automotive and Consumer applications worldwide. In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of photolithography processes and equipment while supporting daily manufacturing operations, process optimization, and yield improvement initiatives. You will work closely with process, equipment, integration, metrology, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, high-quality products to our customers.

Education

• - Bachelor's Degree in:
• Electrical Engineering
• - Chemical Engineering
• - Materials Science
• - Physics
• - Semiconductor Engineering
• - Related Technical Discipline

Experience

• - 0 to 3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• - Internship, co-op, research, or industry experience in semiconductor processing preferred.
• - Experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred.
• - Exposure to lithography, thin films, etch, diffusion, or other semiconductor process modules is a plus.

Technical Skills

• - Fundamental understanding of semiconductor lithography processes and manufacturing operations.
• - Knowledge of:
• Photoresist coating and development
• - Soft bake and post-exposure bake processes
• - Critical Dimension (CD) control
• - Defect reduction methodologies
• - Exposure and focus optimization
• - Overlay control
• - Experience with:
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Preferred Qualifications

• - Experience working with TEL (Tokyo Electron) Track Systems, including ACT, LITHIUS, Pro, or related platforms.
• - Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing or process development activities.
• - Familiarity with wafer handling, contamination control, and cleanroom protocols.
• - Master's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• - Experience supporting automotive, power semiconductor, or image sensor technologies.
