Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in Canton, OH seeks a Lithography Technician for operating a Metalstar press, coating preparation, and line maintenance. The role requires following PPE rules, safety SOPs, and quality procedures while meeting production specs.

Responsibilities include reading schedules, performing basic maintenance, data entry in L2L/QAD, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced packaging manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through high school education, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Job-related experience for 1-2 year(s) minimum.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety rules and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate KBA Metalstar press line to meet customer specs.
• Load coating and prepare for production runs.
• Read production schedules and verify quantities.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain GMP/SQDC hygiene, recordkeeping, and quality checks.
