Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Machine Operator I to operate lithium‑ion battery cell production machines across multiple departments, including clean rooms. You will start up, run, and troubleshoot machines, coordinate with Maintenance Technicians, and maintain shift logs and quality records.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and effective communication with team members.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language (reading, writing and speaking).
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED or 2 years of experience in the functional area.
• Nice-to-have: experience in warehouse/manufacturing, automation, or assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or several lithium‑ion battery cell production machines (inspection and conveyance types).
• Start up and run the machines and monitor processes.
• Identify problems and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Deliver materials to the production floor and manage workflow.
• Analyze workload and perform multi‑tasking; maintain shift logs and QC records.
• Support Maintenance Technicians with preventative maintenance and equipment cleanup.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a clean, safe 6S work area.
