Atlantic Theater Company in New York seeks an experienced Literary Manager to join our artistic team. Reporting to the Associate Artistic Director and Artistic Director, the role leads literary and play development initiatives and runs the Judith Champion Launch commissioning program.

This full-time position collaborates with all departments, manages multiple projects, and helps craft a consistent artistic voice for development and marketing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to manage multiple literary projects in not-for-profit or commercial theater.
• Experience cultivating relationships with artists and discovering emerging writers.

Responsibilities

• Lead literary and play development initiatives.
• Run the Judith Champion Launch commissioning program and co-produce MixFest.
• Collaborate across departments to support development and marketing alike.
• Provide a consistent artistic voice across programming and outreach.
