Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree and valid Louisiana teaching certificate.
• State certification as Reading Teacher and/or Reading Specialist is required.
• Additional criteria as established by the School Board.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a school RTI framework and implement tiered instruction.
• Identify students not succeeding in core reading programs and provide interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers to apply data-driven instructional decisions.
• Plan and deliver high-quality core instruction aligned to standards.
• Assist in professional development and support for reading initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for reading support.
