Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Lab IS Coordinator / Medical Lab Technologist to support the LIS in a clinical lab environment in Key West, FL. You will help ensure accurate data processing and act as a bridge between laboratory staff and IT teams.

You will assist with LIS configurations, user support, and system interfaces while maintaining compliance with CAP, CLIA, and HIPAA standards. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or healthcare IT environment.
• Exposure to laboratory workflows or IT systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot the LIS to ensure accurate functionality.
• Configure LIS settings (test codes, reference ranges, result formats) under guidance.
• Provide LIS-related user support and training.
