Job summary

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of liquor products and their uses; basic office related programs.
• Experience supervising store operations in a retail environment; applying state laws related to the sale of alcohol; providing customer service; operating a computerized point-of-sale system.

Responsibilities

• Store operations and staffing: determines staffing needs and prepares schedules.
• Supervises staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Manages inventory, sales and cash handling; prepares daily sales and deposit reports.
• Ensures policies and state liquor laws are followed; handles customer service inquiries.
• Monitors sales and inventory trends to forecast stock levels and maintain adequate stock.
