Job summary

Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management is seeking an analyst to join the Liquidity Solutions trading desk in New York. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, operations, and technology to support daily trade execution, settlement and liquidity management.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in short-term debt markets and portfolio strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication abilities for fast-paced, transaction-oriented work.
• Attention to detail with solid organizational skills.
• Interest in short-term debt markets, trading strategies, and portfolio management.
• Capability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate complex info clearly.
• Eagerness to learn about money markets and liquidity management.
• Prior exposure to trading desks or portfolio management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Managers/Traders with trade execution, settlement, and accounting.
• Manage intraday liquidity processes and overnight repurchase agreements.
• Coordinate with operations, IT, and external custodians on day-to-day issues and projects.
• Establish relationships with sell-side counterparties to facilitate trading.
• Ensure proper business controls are established and followed.
