Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Treasury Deposit Analytics Associate to support liquidity management across wholesale businesses.

You will develop methodologies and metrics for deposits and partner with Treasury, Liquidity Risk, and business teams to enhance stress testing, funds transfer pricing, and reporting. You will analyze balance sheet and liquidity dynamics to inform decisions, deliver timely insights for senior stakeholders and regulatory requests, and own routine processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in financial services with deposits and liquidity-related work.
Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills; mathematical/statistical intuition helpful.
Comfort working with and interpreting data to draw conclusions.
Versatility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with ownership mindset; strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.

Responsibilities

Interpret regulatory liquidity and capital policies (LCR, NSFR) and articulate their application to deposit businesses.
Develop robust liquidity stress testing approaches and clearly document assumptions for stressed conditions.
Build partnerships with lines of business to understand client-driven liquidity and maintain forecasts.
Resolve ad-hoc issues to ensure appropriate treatment of balances in liquidity reporting and funds transfer pricing.
Create quantitative analyses and tools to support business decision-making.
Improve the liquidity reporting framework by developing reports and tools to analyze balance trends and drive process improvements.
Collaborate across Treasury, Risk, Quantitative Research, and deposit businesses to inform model assumptions and development.
Produce timely analyses for regulatory requests, reporting on banking balance sheet and liquidity positions with clear insight.
Own routine BAU processes, complete ad-hoc requests, and support senior analytics team members.
Support effective funds transfer pricing, liquidity premium allocations, legal entity charge calculations, and SVA analysis.
Provide treasury guidance to Global Payments and Securities Services and assess new product impacts on the balance sheet.
