Job summary

Caring Transitions is seeking a Liquidation and Packing Specialist to join our Salt Lake City team. You will sort, organize, and pack household items inside clients’ homes, take photos for online auctions, and prepare items for pickup and shipping. You may also assist with disposal and delivery to buyers.

The role is part-time with 15–20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays. Paid training is provided, and you’ll gain leadership experience while working with a friendly,

Qualifications

• Must be able to properly lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to submit a background check.
• Access to a smart phone for scheduling, timekeeping & project management apps.

Responsibilities

• Move supplies/moving boxes within the client’s home.
• Lift boxes/decor and some furniture within the home and to new location.
• Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold.
• Safely pack and unpack goods.
• Disposal of unwanted items for donation or removal.
• Delivery and shipping of items purchased through online auction.
• Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers.
• And more, no 2 days are alike!

Liquidation and Packing Specialist

Join a Caring Local Company - We're Hiring! Caring Transitions delivers professional and courteous services to help seniors and families relocate, downsize, house cleanouts, online auctions, estate sales, and more! In this role, you are part of a team providing excellent customer service to Caring Transition customers of Salt Lake City. Within a customer’s house, you would be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to make extra cash while helping others and want a flexible schedule. No specific experience is necessary. Paid training provided.

Pay: Hourly - $15 - $18

Hours: 15-20 hours weekly Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Part-time hours – no two days or weeks are the same with no guarantee of hours.
