Job summary

ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated LP Delivery Associate to join our team in Wisconsin. You will operate a Bobtail truck on local routes, deliver LP to various sites, and uphold safety standards. The role offers a home-nightly schedule with possible on-call rotations for after-hours deliveries.

You will ensure accurate records, maintain equipment, and provide excellent customer service while following all safety regulations for propane handling and transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements is required.
• Experience in propane delivery or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials.
• Excellent driving record and a commitment to safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate delivery equipment and onboard computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LP to residential, commercial, and agricultural sites.
• Retrieve daily routes and drive safely following protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
• Communicate with customers and address questions or concerns.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly.

ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated and responsible Liquid Propane (LP) Delivery Associate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential services to our cooperative members, ensuring they receive reliable and safe propane delivery. As a key member of our operations, you will operate a Bobtail truck on local routes, maintain strong customer relationships, and uphold the highest safety standards. This position allows you to be home every night, with the possibility of participating in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve daily local routes and driver tickets via onboard computer systems.
• Deliver liquid propane (LP) to member tanks at residential, commercial, and agricultural sites.
• Safely fill LP tanks, ensuring proper procedures are followed to prevent spills or accidents.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to propane handling and transportation.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and reporting any issues to the supervisor promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Prior experience in propane delivery, transportation, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to hazardous materials.
• Excellent driving record and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot delivery equipment and onboard computer systems.
