Job summary

Johnson Controls in Burlington, MA is seeking a Test Technician to assemble cooling plates and cooling loop systems. The role validates assemblies using standard tests for leakage, flow, pressure drop, and thermal behavior within an ISO 9001- and ITAR-controlled environment.

The position is five days onsite weekly. Responsibilities include installing fittings, ensuring sealing integrity, and maintaining data records for quality release.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or an associate’s degree preferred.
• 3–6 years hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, fluid systems, and functional testing environments.
• Experience assembling pressure-containing or fluid-based systems and familiarity with threaded fluid connections.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cooling plates and complete cooling loop systems per work instructions and controlled documentation.
• Install and verify fluid fittings, tubing, manifolds, and sealing interfaces.
• Perform quality checks, document test results, and support troubleshooting and improvements.
