Nypro DR in Florence, KY is seeking a hands-on Liquid Cooling Technician to support liquid cooling equipment and operations on the PM-AM shift (Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday). You will apply technical know-how to keep systems running safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, develop SOPs, and assist training. The role requires practical experience with fluid handling, pumps, valves, sensors, and reading mechanical drawings, and offers benefits including

Liquid Cooling Technician

Shift: PM-AM, Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday

How will you make an impact?

The Liquid Cooling Technician will provide hands on technical support for liquid cooling equipment and operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to operators on liquid cooling flushing, filling, purging, draining, and leak testing equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, parameter adjustments, including flow and pressure fluctuations, filling inconsistencies, incomplete draining, and purge related issues.
• Perform routine inspection, Identify and resolve issues involving filters, valves, hoses, fittings, QD's, sensors, and other critical equipment components.
• Execute periodic maintenance checks and preventive maintenance for liquid cooling equipment. Maintain PM records and track equipment performance, downtime, and recurring failures.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for liquid cooling operations.
• Support operator training and ensure adherence to approved operating procedures.
• Identify process deviations, elevate abnormalities, and support corrective and preventive actions. Assist engineering teams with equipment performance studies, process validation, and continuous improvement activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering. Equivalent hands-on industrial or manufacturing may be considered.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance (HVAC/refrigeration equipment preferred), operations, maintenance, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fluid handling equipment, pumps, valves, piping, sensors, and pressure or flow measurement systems. Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, including pressure, flow rate, pressure drop, and flow restrictions.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and supporting production equipment.
• Experience preparing technical documentations, maintenance checklists, and standard work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, Specification documents, MES systems and technical specifications.
