Jabil seeks a hands-on Liquid Cooling Technician to support liquid cooling equipment and operations. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor process parameters, and develop standard work instructions to ensure reliable cooling systems.

The role collaborates with industrial and quality engineering to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The position requires experience with fluid handling systems, preventive maintenance, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fluid handling equipment, pumps, valves, piping, sensors, and pressure or flow measurement systems.
• Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, including pressure, flow rate, pressure drop, and flow restrictions.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and supporting production equipment.
• Experience preparing technical documentations, maintenance checklists, and standard work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, specification documents, MES systems and technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for liquid cooling operations.

Liquid Cooling Technician Shift: AM-PM, Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday

How will you make an impact? The Liquid Cooling Technician will provide hands on technical support for liquid cooling equipment and operations. What will you do? This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, monitoring process parameters, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and developing standard work instructions to ensure consistent, and reliable liquid cooling operations. The technician will work closely with industrial engineering and quality engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain process quality.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to operators on liquid cooling flushing, filling, purging, draining, and leak testing equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, parameter adjustments, including flow and pressure fluctuations, filling inconsistencies, incomplete draining, and purge related issues.
• Perform routine inspection, Identify and resolve issues involving filters, valves, hoses, fittings, QD’s, sensors, and other critical equipment components.
• Execute periodic maintenance checks and preventive maintenance for liquid cooling equipment.
• Maintain PM records and track equipment performance, downtime, and recurring failures.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for liquid cooling operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering.
• Equivalent hands-on industrial or manufacturing may be considered.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance (HVAC/refrigeration equipment preferred), operations, maintenance, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support.
