Qualifications

Ability to lift heavy drums and wear protective gear.
Strong attention to detail for monitoring mixes.

Responsibilities

Follow standard mixing procedures for production of liquid chemical compounds.
Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients according to specifications.
Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, feed, or flow of liquids or gases and times of prescribed reactions.
Take samples of the compound and turn them over to a laboratory for testing.
Inspect equipment for leaks or malfunctions and shut down if necessary.
Complete necessary documentation regarding the compounded batches and record data.
Observe safety precautions to prevent fires or explosions.
