Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Lions Teach Student Assistant to support tutoring and classroom activities in the Reading School District, Reading, PA.

The role involves working closely with students and teachers at Northeast Middle, 13th & Union Elementary, and 12th & Marion Elementary during school visits and campus events. The assistant will guide individuals or small groups to bolster academic skills, support enrichment activities, and model positive behavior under teacher direction.

Lions Teach Student Assistant

Position Summary:

This position will work closely with the 13th Street Educational Partnership and students and teachers in the Reading School District, namely Northeast Middle, 13 th & Union Elementary, and 12th & Marion Elementary Schools, to provide tutoring services and teacher assistance.

Essential Job Functions:

Tutors/Assistants will work directly with students and teachers in the Reading School District. Tutors/Assistants will work at the school site, in-person and on campus for special events/field trips when Reading school students are visiting the college. Tutors will work with individual or small groups of students to bolster academic skills, lead enrichment activities, and serve as role models. Assistants will work under the direction of classroom teachers to support classroom learning and daily activities.

Candidates must have good communication skills and a willingness to provide support and mentorship to school age school students.
