Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a courteous host/hostess for The Stoneleigh's Lions Den in Dallas. You will greet guests, manage seating, and coordinate with the dining team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You will read and relay information between shifts, maintain dining room readiness, and support reservations for special events. Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced front-of-house role.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer seating choices and escort to tables.
• Read, maintain and log daily communications between shifts and management.
• Maintain dining room setup and coordinate reservations for the restaurant.
• Assist with reservations and special events, and support front-of-house operations as needed.
