Position Overview

The Lionheart Ministry Coordinator (LMC) is a part-time role dedicated to overseeing the spiritual outcomes at Lionheart Children's Academy. Reporting to the Academy Director, the LMC develops relationships with the church, children, families, and staff, providing spiritual oversight and leadership. This position involves 16-20 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling, and includes benefits such as a 403(b) / Roth retirement plan. Key responsibilities include leading chapel times, supporting family outreach, providing spiritual oversight for the academy, strengthening church partnerships, and ensuring spiritual milestones are achieved and documented.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly chapel sessions and ensure spiritual curriculum is utilized effectively.
• Act as a spiritual mentor to children and support their spiritual development.
• Engage with families through outreach, events, and visibility during drop-off and pick-up times.
• Provide spiritual oversight for the academy, including curriculum management and outcome tracking.
• Strengthen partnership with the church through regular communication and collaboration.
• Lead and coordinate Acts of Service and other community engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in children's or early childhood ministry, education, or related fields.
• Meet biblical qualifications for spiritual leadership.
• Passion for children and ministry, with skills in engagement, communication, and spiritual programming.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Canva and tech adaptability preferred.
