Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Linux Windows Administrator to join our client’s team. The role focuses on administering Linux and Windows servers, building and supporting enterprise applications, and ensuring secure, scalable operations in a remote work setup.

Candidates should have at least five years' experience, cloud exposure (AWS preferred), scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell), and familiarity with large language models such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to enhance day-to-day

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
• Linux server administration experience and Windows server administration experience.
• General cloud experience, with AWS preferred.
• Proficiency in writing Bash or PowerShell scripts.
• Strong experience using Large Language Models in day-to-day work, including tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical anchor for enterprise applications that support systems engineering and engineering operations.
• Build, deploy, integrate, and support critical engineering applications that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Partner with systems engineers and program teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions across the engineering toolchain.
• Embrace LEAN practices, including GE Aerospace's proprietary implementation called FLIGHT DECK, to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support compliant, high-quality operations by performing triage for server and application outages, security patching, and platform updates.
