Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Linux Systems Support Engineer to join the S3I JSIL Technology and Certification Center. You will support mission-critical Linux systems, run test cases, and contribute to knowledge bases while assisting end users via phone, email, and Teams.

You will work in a 24/7 environment, with opportunities to grow in containerization and scripting, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell. U.S. citizenship and final secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Final Secret Clearance.
• Experience in configuring end-user workstations and remote support.
• Experience documenting issues, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities

• Assist development teams with software release testing and bug triage.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for Linux-based mission systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for supported systems.
• Perform system installation, configuration, and field support.
• Contribute to process and tool improvements.
• Support end users via phone, email, and Teams; remote support duties.
