Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• SME-level proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• US citizenship.
• Demonstrated experience with virtual machines, Thin Clients, switches, and networking responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• System Administration: Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux systems, including virtualization platforms and cloud computing environments.
• Networking: Determine network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility; identify and resolve network issues.
• System Security: Implement security measures, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with customer security policies.
• Collaboration: Partner with software developers and IT stakeholders to support system integration, patch workflows, and maintenance activities.
• Automation: Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Patch Management: Maintain systems with updates and upgrades while validating functionality.
• Documentation: Create and update system documentation including configurations, processes, and procedures.
