Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a System Engineer II in Denver, CO for a hybrid on-site role. This hands-on position focuses on Linux-based systems, deployments, CI/CD, containers, automation, and BAU support. You will troubleshoot end-to-end issues and collaborate with fellow engineers to improve internal processes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in systems engineering, strong Linux administration, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jira. W-2 only.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Linux Administration, DevOps, infrastructure, or related area.
• 1+ years hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting deployments, CI/CD pipelines, automation, or scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of DHCP and DNS networking.
• Experience managing requests through Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting with clear investigation and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot systems and applications within a Linux environment.
• Manage BAU and support requests via Jira.
• Support deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Argo and other deployment/automation tools.
• Troubleshoot device activation and networking issues (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing).
• Monitor systems, review alerts and logs, and resolve production issues.
• Write or maintain scripts for automation and internal processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
