Job summary

ASM Research in Idaho is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Linux Administrator to enhance enterprise Linux environments through automation, CI/CD development, and system administration. You will partner with development, security, and operations to improve deployment efficiency, system performance, and operational stability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Linux experience in enterprise settings, strong scripting skills, and a track record of building secure CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise Linux environments and patching.
• Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Ansible Core for configuration management and automation.
• Strong networking fundamentals and REST API integration knowledge.
• Experience scripting in Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux environments across production and non-production systems.
• Develop automation solutions and scripting for Linux administration and CI/CD workflows.
• Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure deployments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
