Job summary

Quadcode is seeking a Linux Administrator to join the Ops team, supporting production services and infrastructure for applications built with PHP and Go. You’ll manage 2000+ VMs and 500+ physical servers, collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and keep services running reliably in production.

You’ll work in a hybrid model with 3 office days in Limassol or Larnaca, using Ansible and scripting to automate tasks, and you’ll engage with monitoring and profiling

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Linux server administration in production environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Linux internals, networking, system services and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering PostgreSQL and/or Greenplum.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring/logging and profiling (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Russian language at C2+ level for team communication.
• English language at least B1+ for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu) across development and production environments.
• Administer PostgreSQL and Greenplum clusters, including performance and reliability troubleshooting.
• Administer and support KeyDB, ClickHouse and Kafka.
• Configure and maintain Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure and Airflow.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible and script with Python or Bash.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes environments, including Helm-based deployments.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents and improve performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Work with OpenStack and AWS infrastructure.
• Support development teams with infrastructure-related issues and environments.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure team on issues and hardware provisioning.
• Contribute to security practices and PCI DSS requirements.
