Job summary

Agile Defense is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to sustain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across Army and MI Domain networks, both on‑premise and in cloud environments. The role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with IAT Level III certifications, RHCSA, and related credentials.

You will design, implement, and maintain secure Linux architectures while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or 15 years of related experience.
• Experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator.
• Security certifications and rigorous compliance practices are preferred.

Job Title: Linux Systems Engineer

Clearance Level: Top Secret, SCI, Must Have Clearance to Start

Required Certification(s): IAT Level III (CISSP/CASP) + Computing Environment (CE), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), One additional specialized certification cloud technology or relevant to the scope of the PWS.

Job Description As part of Agile Defense, the successful candidates will provide Linux & Cybersecurity services to sustain the RHEL satellite servers on Army and MI Domain networks, both on‑premise and in Army Commercial Cloud Service Provider (AC2SP). The contract services will contribute to operation, sustainment, and regulatory compliance of Army JWICS and the MI Domains across the INSCOM G6/GISA global Enterprise.

Education and Background, Years of Experience, & Required Skills Bachelor s Degree in a technology‑related field or 15 years of related experience. Experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator.
