Job summary

Captivation is hiring a mid‑level systems administrator with strong Linux experience to join our team supporting critical infrastructure. The role emphasizes building and maintaining IT systems, CI/CD pipelines, and secure, scalable environments.

We require a Top Secret/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and at least 10 years of SA experience with a technical degree. Direct hire only; extensive benefits accompany the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• U.S. citizen with Top Secret/SCI clearance and favorable polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay current with DevOps trends.
