iPostal1, a leader in digital mailbox solutions, seeks a Linux Systems Administrator with strong Linux and Bash skills and hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ASG, ALB, Route 53, RDS). Solid DBA knowledge is aPlus.

This hybrid role is based at our Montebello HQ in Rockland County, NY, and involves working with DevOps, development, and QA teams to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Linux systems administration, is proficient in scripting, and familiar with IaC

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
• Proficient in Bash scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of AWS services.
• Basic-to-intermediate DBA skills (MySQL and PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Server Management: Provision, maintain, and secure Linux servers.
• AWS Infrastructure: Configure and optimize EC2, ASG, ALB, Route 53, RDS.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop Bash scripts to streamline processes.
• Database Admin: Backups, restores, and basic tuning for RDS.
• Monitoring & Security: Use Datadog for health tracking and security practices.
• Collaboration: Work with DevOps, development, and QA teams.
