Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting simulation or modeling environments.
• Strong background in configuring network interfaces including RHEL bond/bridge/VLAN.
• Experience with requirements analysis, interface management, architecture alignment, and baselines.
• Experience troubleshooting integration issues across software, hardware, and networks.
• Understanding of system lifecycle processes: design, integration, test, deployment, sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of complex simulation systems, subsystems, software, hardware, interfaces, and supporting infra.
• Install and configure software packages on RHEL and Windows.
• Apply senior systems engineering practices to requirements analysis and end-to-end system integration.
• Assess application behavior, data exchange, middleware, and implementation issues.
• Coordinate integration activities across software, systems, hardware, network, test, and operations teams.

• Support configuration management, environment coordination, and release planning.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across software, hardware, networks, timing, data, and dependencies.
• Support lab, test, staging, and operational simulation environments.
• Participate in design reviews, integration working groups, test readiness, and reviews.
• Support verification, validation, regression testing, and transitions.
• Prepare technical documentation, status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations.

• Support integration of complex simulation systems, subsystems, software components, hardware elements, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure


• Install and configure complex software packages on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows


• Apply senior systems engineering practices to requirements analysis, architecture alignment, interface definition, technical baseline management, and end-to-end system integration


• Assess application behavior, interface logic, data exchange, middleware integration, and technical implementation issues


• Coordinate integration activities across software, systems, hardware, network, test, and operational teams


• Develop and maintain system architectures, interface definitions, integration plans, technical baselines, and verification approaches


• Analyze interoperability, interface compatibility, performance issues, and integration risks


• Support configuration management, version alignment, environment coordination, and release integration planning


• Troubleshoot complex integration issues involving software, hardware, networks, timing, data, and external system dependencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field


• Secret Clearance


• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)


• Significant experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or software integration for complex technical systems


• Experience supporting simulation systems, training systems, modeling and simulation environments, or similarly integrated technical platforms


• Strong background in the configuration of network interfaces, including RHEL configuration of bond interfaces, bridge interfaces, and VLAN configuration


• Experience with requirements analysis, interface management, architecture alignment, and technical baseline control


• Experience troubleshooting integration issues across software, hardware, network, and system boundaries


• Understanding of system lifecycle processes including design, integration, test, deployment, and sustainment
