Job summary

System One is seeking a Linux System Administrator for a 12-month engagement. This remote role focuses on infrastructure, systems administration, network operations, and automation, with occasional travel to Dallas, TX.

You will administer Linux-based environments, manage networks and virtualization, and support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency while collaborating with internal teams to ensure stable, secure operations.

Qualifications

Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 12 Months
• Work Location: 100% Remote
• Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to Dallas, TX (1-2 days annually)
• Pay range: $70 - $75/hour

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator. This is a 12-month engagement focused on infrastructure, systems administration, network operations, and automation. Occasional travel to Dallas, TX may be required.

Requirements

• Linux System Administrator experience
• Strong systems administration background with a focus on infrastructure, networks, and automation
• Preference for infrastructure/operations experience over application development
• VMware experience preferred
• Nutanix experience preferred
• Ability to travel occasionally (1-2 days per year) to Dallas, TX
