Captivation is seeking a mid-level software engineer to develop and maintain system management infrastructure software for HPC on Linux. You will automate tasks with Bash/Python, contribute to CI/CD using GitLab, and work in an Agile environment.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship, with compensation reflecting 130k–270k annual salary depending on experience. Join a mission-driven team protecting national interests.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of SWE experience or Bachelor's with 5+ years of SWE experience or 7+ years SWE experience.
• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Scripting in Bash/Python to automate tasks and processes.
• Recent Python development experience.
• Familiar with CI/CD principles and GitLab CI.
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe.
• Experience with Git Source Control System.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for HPC in a Linux environment.
• Automate tasks and workflows using scripts.
