This role blends Linux security engineering with hands-on offensive security, including adversary simulation, exploitation, attack-path analysis, and hardening. You will lead assessments, design hardening, identify weaknesses, build automated checks, and collaborate with infra and security teams to deploy secure Linux

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Linux security/engineering experience.
• Strong Red Team / Offensive Security background with exploitation and adversary simulation.
• Deep knowledge of Linux hardening, privilege management, authentication, access controls, and secure configuration.

Responsibilities

• Lead security assessments and red-team activities against enterprise Linux environments
• Design and improve Linux hardening standards, secure configurations, and least-privilege controls
• Identify attack paths, privilege-escalation opportunities, and system weaknesses
• Build automated security checks and remediation workflows using scripting/automation
• Support threat investigations across Linux systems, logs, processes, and network activity
• Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and security teams on secure Linux deployments across on-prem and cloud environments

Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite

We’re looking for a Linux Security Lead to strengthen security across enterprise Linux infrastructure for a global investment organization. This role combines Linux security engineering with hands-on offensive security, including adversary simulation, exploitation, attack-path analysis, and hardening.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead security assessments and red-team activities against enterprise Linux environments
• Design and improve Linux hardening standards, secure configurations, and least-privilege controls
• Identify attack paths, privilege-escalation opportunities, and system weaknesses
• Build automated security checks and remediation workflows using scripting/automation

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Linux security/engineering experience
• Strong Red Team / Offensive Security background with hands-on exploitation and adversary simulation
• Strong knowledge of Linux hardening, privilege management, authentication, access controls, and secure configuration
• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability validation, threat modeling, and remediation
• Scripting/automation experience with tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Exposure to Linux security across cloud, virtualization, or container environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with infrastructure and engineering teams
