Qualifications

3+ years of engineering team management.
7+ years of working within engineering teams.
8+ years leading the definition and development of multi tier web services.
Experience with lifecycle processes including testing, CI/CD, and livesite operations.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers on Linux kernel development for EC2 Nitro platforms
Drive technical strategy and roadmap for kernel development initiatives
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and program teams to define requirements and priorities
Identify and remove blockers to enable team productivity and technical excellence
Support team members in debugging complex, system-level issues and knowledge sharing
Represent the team in cross-functional planning and stakeholder communications
