Job summary

Rang Technologies Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to diagnose and resolve complex Linux, hardware, and network issues in production environments.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to identify root causes, implement robust solutions, and bolster infrastructure reliability. The role involves troubleshooting Linux systems, analyzing logs, developing automation scripts in Python or Bash, and maintaining technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux administration experience (RHEL and/or Ubuntu preferred).
• 1+ year of server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
• Experience analyzing system and application logs.
• Proficiency with Python or Bash scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex Linux, software, hardware, and network issues in production environments. Works closely with engineering and operations teams to identify root causes, implement solutions, improve system reliability, and support infrastructure operations.

• Create simple automation scripts using Python or Bash.

Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, SQLite, or MongoDB.
• Cybersecurity or EDR tool experience.
• RHCE Certification preferred.
