- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of related software development engineering
- Experience with service processors or embedded firmware on Linux
- Experience with ILOM or BMC management
- Knowledge of relevant programming languages, including Perl, Python, C/C++, and Unix scripting
- Understanding of I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and PCIe protocols
- Experience working with lower‑level software for hardware (firmware/embedded)
- Experience with Subversion, Git, and other software versioning tools
