Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Linux Automation Administrator to support a federal program. You will manage RHEL/Ubuntu servers, develop Ansible playbooks, and oversee Kubernetes clusters while ensuring security, DISA/STIGs, and NIST 800-53 compliance.

On-site in Linthicum, MD with TS clearance required. Role emphasizes incident response, root cause analysis, and collaboration with cyber investigations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of related experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Experience in cyber investigations, forensics, and threat analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and support RHEL and Ubuntu servers across networks.
• Develop, maintain Ansible Playbooks for security, patching, and configuration.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Configure connected services including network adapters, storage, and firewalls.
• Deploy monitoring to detect anomalies and outages; perform root cause analysis.
